APD investigating bank robbery in South Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is investigating a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo in South Austin.

APD reported that the robbery call came in around 3:44 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 1800 block of S. Pleasant Valley Road.

According to APD, the suspect entered the bank and requested cash. No injuries were reported and the suspect left the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a 5'8" white male with a thin build. APD says he wore a surgical mask, khaki pants, a dark jacket and a dark cap.
