Austin Water customers experiencing unusual odor
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Some Austin Water customers may be experiencing an unusual odor in their water Thursday morning.
Austin Water is ensuring customers it's still safe to drink and is meeting all regulatory standards. To address the issue, they say they began "feeding powdered activated carbon," which is often used to help with taste and odor problems.
Austin Water expects the odor issue to be resolved in the next 24 hours.
