Authorities give media update on the death of Prince

Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson held a press conference that started at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon. The sheriff made a brief statement summarizing the information that has been gathered and made available to the public thus far.

The medical examiner reports that there were no obvious signs of trauma on Prince's body.

According to Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson "We have no reason to believe that this was a suicide." Sheriff Olson also said, "to you he was a superstar, to us, he was a member of our community, a great neighbor."
