Authorities say one man is in critical condition after crashing truck into house

AUSTIN, Texas - Authorities said one man is hospitalized after crashing truck into a house in northwest Austin Tuesday night. 

Austin Fire officials said it happened on Wind River Road and Angus Road around 10 p.m.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS a man in his 40’s was pinned and had to be extricated from a vehicle. The man was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with potentially critical life-threatening injuries. 

No one else was injured.

Authorities said no one was home at the time of the crash.

The cause is still under investigation.
