HUTTO, Texas - Several Central Texas men were arrested after a child exploitation operation was conducted by law enforcement.

The backstory:

Hutto police said on August 22–23, the department conducted a multi-agency child exploitation operation that focused on finding and arresting adults suspected of using online platforms for illegal sexual activity involving children. 

The operation focused on suspects believed to be seeking sexual contact with children under the age of 15.

Six men were arrested as a result of the operation. 

  • A 55-year-old Georgetown man was arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor.
  • A 28-year-old Pflugerville man was arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor.
  • A 37-year-old Hutto man was arrested for Attempted Sexual Performance by a Child.
  • A 29-year-old Round Rock man was arrested for Attempted Sexual Performance by a Child.
  • A 43-year-old Leander man was arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor.
  • A 34-year-old Round Rock man was arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor.

The investigation remains ongoing. The charges may be amended, enhanced, or additional charges may be filed as further evidence is reviewed.
