Body found in Southeast Travis County
Officials are investigating after a body was found in Southeast Travis County. The body was located on Highway 183 south near Margo Drive south of SH 45 and Highway 183.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office PIO says there was a single vehicle collision at around 2 a.m. in the same area and that deputies searched for the occupants of the vehicle but did not find anyone.
A few hours later a utility worker was on an utility pole and saw the body.
DPS is leading the investigation as it continues.
