City of Austin releases Saturday road closure map for Chuy Children's Parade, Congress to close

AUSTIN, Texas - The City of Austin has released the road closure map ahead of Saturday's Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade.
The parade will start at the State Capital on Eleventh and Congress and will move south on Congress all the way to Cesar Chavez. The parade route ends just north of the Congress Ave. Bridge. The parade will begin around 11 a.m. and will run for approximately an hour.
The City of Austin recommends that spectators avoid parking on or near Congress. Vehicles will not be allowed to leave the area once the closures are in place and are subject to being towed if parked on the route. It is also recommended that people.
