Cut fiber optic line blamed for AT&T outage

AT&T customers are able to make calls again after a massive cell phone outage in Central Texas. According to the Bastrop County Office of Emergency Management, the disruption was caused when a fiber optic line was cut.

It took a couple of hours for the repairs to be done and services to be restored.

Some users had to reboot their devices but, as of this morning, everything should be fixed.
