Elderly woman dies in Manor house fire: police

MANOR, Texas - A woman is dead after a house fire in Manor on Wednesday.

What we know:

According to Manor police, on April 1, around 3:09 p.m., officers responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of W Wheeler St. The caller said black smoke was coming from a building and an elderly woman lived inside.

When firefighters arrived, they extinguished the fire and brought the woman outside. The woman was unresponsive and was later pronounced dead.

The Travis County Fire Marshal's Office is conducting an investigation.
