AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Students are officially back in class at the University of Texas.
Overnight the tower was burnt orange and had the number 23 on its sides to welcome the class of 2023 to the 40 Acres.
Some freshman students FOX 7 Austin spoke to say they're nervous but excited to start college and begin their four years as a Longhorn.
Over the weekend some 7,400 people started moving in on campus and taking over the 14 on campus residence halls.
Most students are from Texas but officials say others are coming from 43 states and 39 countries.
Officials also want to remind people that there of course will be more traffic in and around the UT campus area.
