Five suspects arrested for New Braunfels aggravated robbery

The New Braunfels Police Department has announced that five men believed responsible for an aggravated robbery on May 10 in New Braunfels have been arrested.

The robbery happened at Timeless Ink in the 500 block of I-35 South at around 11:50 p.m. Police say four armed men entered the tattoo parlor and held three people at gunpoint. Surveillance video can be seen below or if you can't see the video you can go here.

The three, two employees and one customer, were physically assaulted by the masked men who forcibly took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store before leaving.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital, one with minor injuries and another with serious but non life threatening injuries.

NBPD detectives, along with San Antonio Police Department detectives, began an investigating and identified the five men believed to responsible, including the alleged driver.

Arrest warrants were issued and the suspects were taken into custody with the help of the US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.

The five, all from San Antonio, who have been arrested are:

  • 18-year-old Olanda William "Taz" Taylor
  • 36-year-old Gustavo "Gus" Trevino
  • 26-year-old Robert Lionel "Robbie" Ruffins
  • 26-year-old Kenneth Zoel "Red" McMichael
  • 29-year-old Anthony "Poohbear" Ruffins

Police say additional charges may be filed.
