AUSTIN, Texas - Monday was the deadline for candidates to file to run in 2020.
MJ Hegar has made her intentions official to run for the U.S. Senate against Republican incumbent John Cornyn. Hegar previously ran for the U.S. House in 2018 against Republican Congressman John Carter, losing 47.6 percent to Carter's 50.6 percent.
