FOX 7 Discussion: President Trump Cancels Visit from the Philadelphia Eagles

AUSTIN, Texas - President Trump hosted a celebration of America event Tuesday afternoon after uninviting Super Bowl champs the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House.

He said the patriotism event was a way to explain why young Americans should stand for the National Anthem and, also a way to honor the military.

FOX 7 Austin’s Rebecca Thomas talked to Travis County GOP chairman, Matt Mackowiak and Ed Espinoza from Progress Texas about the president’s tweet calling out the Eagles players.
