H-E-B announced on Thursday they are buying the Austin-based delivery service Favor.
Favor Delivery was found in 2013 and has a presence in 50 cities across the lone star state.
"I am thrilled to have H‑E‑B join forces with another well‑respected and innovative Texas company," H-E-B's chief operating officer Martin Otto said in a press release.
H-E-B says the delivery service will continue to operate independently, but the retailer will retain Favor's employees.
The terms of the transaction weren't released.
