Killeen Police investigate homicide on Covey Lane

The Killeen Police Department is investigating a homicide on Covey Lane.
According to KPD, officers were called to the 1200 block of Covey Lane at 9:38 am, on Saturday, May 14, 2016, after receiving a 911 call in reference to a man down. Upon the officers’ arrival they located a victim.
Justice of the Peace Donald Engleking pronounced the 29 year old victim deceased at the scene at 10:18am.
The name of the deceased has been withheld pending the notification of the next of kin.
