AUSTIN, Texas - If you have a Halloween costume you don't think you can wear any more you can donate it to a good cause.
A local 5th grader named Alexis started a non-profit to help those who might not be able to buy a new costume every year.
The idea tied in to her school project that focused on sustainability and now she's turned it in to a community wide effort.
Alexis says her mission is to collect gently used Halloween costumes of all sizes and styles as well as props and have them cleaned, organized and ready to distribute to struggling families next Halloween season.
November 30 is the last day to donate. Details below or on the group's Facebook page.
