Leander High School bomb threat: No threat to public, police say

LEANDER, Texas - A bomb threat was called in to Leander High School during a dance competition on Saturday.
Police say nothing was located and there is no threat to the public.

What we know:
Leander High School was evacuated on Saturday morning after a bomb threat was called in.
The annual Winter Dance Classic at Leander High School was happening at the time of the threat.
Leander ISD say they had to evacuate the high school in an abundance of caution.
Members of Leander police, fire and other officers searched the campus, but nothing was located, and they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
Parents and students have been allowed back in.
Shortly after 1 p.m., the Leander Blue Belles said that the schedule was being adjusted and that the competition would resume soon.
What we don't know:
Leander police say they are still working to determine who made the call.
