Mack Brown yet to accept any coaching offers
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Former Texas Longhorns and North Carolina Tar Heels head football coach Mack Brown says he is not looking to coach again but will not rule out the possibility either. The American Heart Association will honor Brown with its 2016 Bear Bryant Lifetime Achievement Award.
Brown has told several of the colleges interested in him that he does not want to coach. When asked about the American Athletic Conference champion University of Houston Cougars moving to a Power 5 type of conference in the future, Brown said,"Be who you are this year. Don't just show up when you're winning."
