Man assaults South Austin 7-Eleven employee, flees with items: APD

The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a robbery suspect in South Austin.

Police said on Nov. 18, around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a robbery assault at the 7-Eleven at 201 West Ben White Boulevard service road.

The suspect entered the store, grabbed items, and was going to leave the store without paying. An employee from the store intervened, and the suspect then assaulted the employee before breaking the front glass door to get out.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 20–30 years old, 5'10, with a dark-colored beard.
