Man attacks woman during aggravated robbery in South Austin: APD

Police are looking for a man who attacked a woman during a robbery in South Austin.

Background

The backstory:

Police said on Dec. 12, around 3:25 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated robbery at the Tornado Bus Company at 711 East Ben White Boulevard.

Detectives learned a victim was robbed at gunpoint inside the business. The victim was working in her office when the suspect entered, showed his gun, and demanded money.

Police said the suspect attacked the victim by pistol-whipping and punching her. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, around 50–60 years old. He was last seen wearing a hooded jacket, baseball hat, black medical face mask, black gloves, jeans, and black dress shoes.
