Man who escaped patrol vehicle in WilCo turns self in

Ronald Scott Jr., the man who escaped from a Williamson County Sheriff's Office deputy's patrol vehicle is now back in custody. Officials say he turned himself in this morning.

Scott Jr. had escaped from the patrol vehicle on June 3 and it was caught on camera. He was handcuffed and climbed through a small opening where deputies can talk through to suspects in the back seat and out through the front door of the SUV which was unlocked.

Scott Jr. had been pulled over in the outskirts of Taylor for a traffic violation and the deputy discovered he had warrants and so he was arrested.

Williamson County officials say Scott Jr. will face addtional charges of escape and theft. They say he was featured on the show LIVE PD in its most wanted segment over the weekend.
