One dead in rollover crash in West Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas - One person is dead after a rollover crash in West Travis County.

The wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lakehurst Road and Happy Hollow Rd.

Texas DPS says its preliminary investigation shows a 2004 Jeep Rubicon was headed south when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and lost control.

The Jeep rolled over, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

DPS says the driver was the only person in the vehicle.
