One man in custody after SWAT standoff in East Austin

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - One man is in custody after a SWAT standoff in East Austin.

The incident happened on Feb. 12 on Cometa Street near 12th and Springdale.

Police responded to a call about an argument between a man and his parents. 

Givens Park, which is nearby, was closed as police worked to talk the barricaded man out of the home.

The man eventually came out and was arrested.
