Pedestrian critically injured after hit by vehicle in North Austin

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A pedestrian was critically injured Monday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in North Austin.
ATCEMS reported police, fire and EMS crews were responding to the scene of a crash at Metric Boulevard and W. Parmer Lane at 5:09 p.m.
A man in his 60s was transported to Round Rock Medical Center with critical life-threatening injuries. Medics reported they were able to obtain a pulse on him after performing CPR while in transit.
ATCEMS says to expect traffic delays and closures and reminds drivers to watch for investigators working in the area.
