Police investigating series of 'indecent exposure' cases near UT

Austin and UT Police say they're investigating a series of "indecent exposure" cases near campus.

A detective with UTPD told Fox 7 by phone, last month a woman was walking in the west campus area when she was approached by a man in a light-colored sedan.  He asked for directions.  The woman noticed he was pleasuring himself.

A similar situation happened on August 26th -- according to Austin Police it happened while a woman was walking her dog on Tom Green Street near campus.

APD says the driver in that instance was a black male, balding, 25 to 30 years old.

And on Tuesday of this week, UTPD says a female student was walking on Speedway when she was approached by a man who exposed himself.

Austin Police also told Fox 7  a "window peeper" was arrested on Monday near campus.
