Residents displaced after car drives into home, no injuries

Two North Austin residents were forced to stay in a hotel after a car smashed into their home.

According to paramedics with the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, a driver slammed through the front of a house on Glenn Lane, which is just off of North Lamar and Rundberg, around 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2018. The force of impact led to the car being wedged about halfway in.

The homeowners were at church when the crash happened.

Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident.

The Austin Police Department said the driver was giving a sobriety test.

However, they could not confirm if they were arrested.
