Police investigate incident in Round Rock near I-35

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The investigation continues after an incident in Round Rock that prompted a police response.

Round Rock police briefly asked residents to avoid the area near 1400 N I-35, just north of Palm Valley Blvd Tuesday morning.

Woman kidnapped from Harker Heights

According to the Harker Heights Police Department, the 31-year-old sent a text message to her roommate saying she had been kidnapped and thought she was going to die.

Officials tell us that the officers were searching for a suspect from Harker Heights.
