TCSO: One arrested after Steiner Ranch shooting

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting in the Steiner Ranch neighborhood in Northwest Austin.

The person arrested has been identified as 47-year-old Britt Howe. Howe has been charged with burglary of a habitation and intent to commit a felony.

The incident happened at the Meritage at Steiner Ranch apartment complex located at 4500 Steiner Ranch Boulevard.

Officials with the Travis County Sheriff's Department say Howe is accused of shooting into another person's front door. No one was hurt.

The shooting reportedly stemmed from a domestic violence incident.
