Two killed in auto/pedestrian accident

AUSTIN, Texas - Corporal Steven Kippner tells FOX 7 that the early morning hour and darkness may have played a big role in this accident.

Police also say two drivers were stopped and were being questioned but it's uncertain if they were involved in the crash.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area and the street was blocked. Traffic was being redirected for about two to three hours but it is now open once again.
