Coronavirus isn't the first pandemic Austinites have experienced. Back in 1918, the world was coming out of WWI and also dealing with Spanish Influenza. Here in Austin, The University of Texas shut down and encouraged students to practice some of the same safety measures we're practicing today. This week we chatted with Ben Wright at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History via Zoom for some insight.
