Southwest Airlines to upgrade systems after holiday meltdown

The airline announced a three part plan to prevent another debacle like the one last Christmas. Southwest cancelled 17,000 flights last December due to bad winter weather and system failings, stranding passengers and their luggage at airports across the country.
