Austin could say ?goodbye? to City Manager job and ?hello? to ?strong mayor?
A new Political Action Committee called Austinites for Progressive Reform is fighting to adjust Austin?s City charter. They?re wanting to make changes to the campaign finance system, the Mayoral election calendar and they?re hoping to convince Austinites to make the switch to what?s called a ?strong Mayor? form of government. PAC Chair Andrew Allison joined Good Day Austin?s Casey Claiborne live Saturday morning to talk about what?s next and what it means for Austin.
