Angel Tree Program 2017

The 2017 Angel Tree Program is underway. This year, the Salvation Army of Austin is hoping to provide gifts for 7,000 angels.

These angels are local children in need, who may be without a gift under the Christmas tree if they're not adopted. The program provides assistance to families living in both Travis and Williamson counties.

The Salvation Army is asking that you give not just toys, but clothing as well.
Angel trees are decorated with numbered paper tags with the first name, age and gender of the child in need of gifts. Donators then remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase something special for the kids.

You have until December 16 to adopt an angel. If you're interested in doing so, just stop by these malls and choose an angel from the angel tree: Lakeline Mall, Barton Creek Square Mall and the Hill County Galleria in Bee Cave.
