Tortilla Pizza recipe with FOX 7 Austin's Tierra Neubaum

During the coronavirus pandemic, many people have been stocking up on shelf-stable items.

Tierra puts those pantry-staples to good use live from her kitchen with a “supreme” recipe idea.

The recipe is as follows:

  • 1 6-inch tortilla
  • 1/4 cup sauce (marinara, pesto, BBQ, olive oil and garlic, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup cheese
  • Any & all toppings you desire

  • Preheat the oven to 400°
  • Place tortillas on a baking sheet then add sauce to the tortilla, followed by toppings and cheese
  • Bake for 8-12 minutes until tortilla edges start to become golden brown and cheese is bubbling
  • ENJOY!

A couple notes from Tierra when she's made her recipe. Tierra says she's found that dairy-free cheese takes longer to melt.

She also advises you to spray the pan before baking to prevent sticking because sometimes her pizzas will stick and sometimes they don't.

Also, if your oven tends to cook low, increase preheat to 410°.
