2 more rock throwings along I-35, bringing total to 61

FOX 7 received a photo from the victim of yet another rock throwing along I-35.
Police indicate that two separate incidents occurred Sunday morning. One occurring around 2 a.m. Sunday morning and the other around 9 a.m. Sunday.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck around 2 a.m. says that a rock went through his windshield as he was going north at 70 mph, near Capital Plaza on I-35. The victim reports that his arm suffered some cuts and bruises but that no one was seriously injured.
According to Austin Police there have been 61 rock throwing incidents (including these two) in Austin, mostly along I-35.
The Austin Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest and prosecution of the person behind the rock throwings on I-35.
The Greater Austin Crime Commission is funding the reward.
Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo asks that victims and witnesses immediately pull over and call 911. He says officers will search the area where the rock was reportedly thrown. Then speak to the person who made the call.
