2 shot on Sixth Street after bars closed Sunday morning
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Sixth Street after the bars closed Sunday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. in front of the Terminal Six bar on East Sixth Street.
According to witnesses, a man was shot and the same bullet also hit a woman.
Both of them were taken to the hospital, the man with life-threatening injuries and the women with potentially life-threatening injuries.
APD says no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
Officers were back out on Sixth Street around the bar Sunday evening collecting evidence and hoping to speak with witnesses.
