APD investigates shooting outside South Austin bar

AUSTIN, Texas-- Detectives with the Austin Police Department are investigating an overnight shooting in South Austin.

Officers say the shooting happened in the parking lot of a bar in the 4900 block of Burleson Road. One person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooter took off from the scene in a car. APD officers are looking for the shooter. It's not clear what may have caused the altercation. The investigation is ongoing.
