APD investigating death of infant in East Austin
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Police are investigating the death of an infant in East Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 6100 block of Manor Road on Monday, July 1 for a welfare check. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the deceased baby. Officers with APD told Bridget Spencer on FOX 7 that there is no word if the death is suspicious and it could be hours before investigators figure things out.
