APD: Man forged, cashed check he stole from an Airbnb

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is asking the public's help in locating a Capital Area Crime Stoppers fugitive.

Austin police say Lucas Alexander Martis, 22, stole financial documents belonging to a business that was officing out of an Airbnb where he was renting a room. Martis allegedly forged and cashed at least one check using the company's checkbook.
