Armed robbery suspect wanted for robbing Metro PCS
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect that was captured on surveillance video.
According to the police, the robbery happened on Wednesday, May 29 at a Metro PCS store in the 11130 block of northbound N I-35. The suspect entered the business, approached the sale counter to make contact with the employee, and then displayed a weapon.
The suspect demanded items from the business before leaving on a dark bicycle with thin tires.
He is described as:
- White male
- Late 30's - Early 40's
- 5'9"
- Thin build
- Spoke English
- Wearing a bright green shirt, camo pants, and a black baseball cap with a white logo
- Has tattoos on both forearms
- Carried a large black backpack
