Around 4,000 without power in northwest Austin
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Approximately 4,000 customers are without power in northwest Austin, according to Austin Energy.
The power outage began in the afternoon on Wednesday, Jan. 2 and appears to be affecting customers who live in northeast Austin, between Anderson Mill Road and McNeil Drive.
Crews with Austin Energy are responding to the power outage and working to repair the problem.
