At least one killed after motorcycle and truck collide in South Austin

At least one person was killed after a motorcycle and a truck collided in South Austin. 

According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, first responders were dispatched to the 500 block of East Oltorf Street, near the intersection with South Congress Avenue, shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, June 10. When medics with ATCEMS arrived on scene, they found two adults with injuries as a result of the crash. 

A man in his thirties with critical life-threatening injuries was transported to South Austin Medical Center. A woman in her twenties was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. 

The man did not survive his injuries.

Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes while police investigate.
