Austin police investigating deadly South Austin auto-pedestrian crash

AUSTIN, Texas - Police are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian crash in South Austin.

Officials say a man was hit by a car near the intersection of South Congress and Slaughter just before 8:30 p.m. on September 23.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were released.
