Austin police respond to bank robbery

The Austin Police Department responded to a bank robbery in northwest Austin on Friday. 

APD says the incident happened at Wells Fargo Bank located at 8045 Mesa Dr. They were called just after noon. Police say a male subject entered the bank, demanded money and then left with an undisclosed amount. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male who is 5'11'' to 6 feet tall. He was reportedly wearing an orange sweatshirt, dark pants and a baseball cap. 

He was last seen on foot headed toward Mopac.
