Bomb threat at H-E-B; police detain 1 person

The Austin Police Department provide update on the bomb threat at the H-E-B located at 7301 North FM 620 Road.

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department says it has detained one person after investigating a bomb threat at an H-E-B.

The incident happened at the H-E-B located at 7301 North FM 620 Road.

Police say when they arrived at the scene they located one unoccupied suspicious vehicle within the parking lot.

Officers put a perimeter around the vehicle.

The APD Bomb Squad determined the item was not an explosive device.
