A non-profit called Patriot Paws in Rockwall is pairing service dogs with veterans.
The idea is that the dogs will help veterans cope. But the wait for one of those dogs can be lengthy and lonely.
Fox 7's Elizabeth Saab met one veteran who is volunteering with the organization to change that.
