Casa Colombia holds donation drive for Puerto Rico
A local restaurant is hosting a donation drive to help gather and send supplies to Puerto Rico.
Much of the U.S. territory, home to more than 3.4 million American citizens, is still without adequate food, water and fuel after being battered by Hurricane Maria.
Gas stations, banks, and supermarkets are gradually reopening, but there are limited supplies.
Casa Colombia and Puerto Rico Rises - Austin have come together to host a relief drive at the Casa Colombia restaurant located at 2409 E 7th St, Austin, Texas 78702 from 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
The Relief Drive for Puerto Rico will offer good food, 'parranda' music, and great company.
