Central Texas woman invents "booby trap bras"
A Central Texas woman's near- attack on the hike and bike trail inspired her to invent clothing -- that doubles as a weapons compartment.
This past April, Jennifer Cutrona was running along the hike and bike trail in Austin when she said a man, who was hiding in the brush, startled her.
"He jumped right into the trail at me and I dodged him and was able to not be grabbed," Cutrona said.
His intentions may have been harmless, but she didn't stick around to find out. She cut a hole in the front of one of her sports bras, inserted a pocket knife sheath--and the booby trap bra was born.
"It scared me to the point that I went straight home and decided I would never be that vulnerable again," Cutrona said.
