Child reunited with mother after police say someone stole car the child was in

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A child has been safely reunited with its mother after the mother left her car running with the child inside and someone stole it.

Austin police say it happened around 7:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Rundberg Lane.

The suspect is still on the loose and took off on foot in the Manor Road area.

Police have not released any further details about the suspect or the victims.
