The backstory:

Chipotle says the phrase "tatted like a Chipotle bag" started on Feb, 3, 2019 during the Super Bowl LIII halftime show in Atlanta, Georgia, when Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine went shirtless while singing "Moves Like Jagger".  Social media posts compared his tattoo artwork to the artwork on Chipotle's to-go bags and even posted images of their own Chipotle inspired tattoo.

What they're saying:

"What started as an internet meme became a real-world expression of fandom for our brand," said Stephanie Perdue, Interim Chief Marketing Officer.  "Bringing this promotion back for Friday the 13th further establishes our connection with the tattoo community."

What you can do:

Chipotle says the BOGO promotion is limited to five free menu items subject to availability and each free item requires purchase of an entrée item of equal or greater value and may be collected only by a tattoo-wearing customer.
